I recently listened to two outstanding homilies on the Feast of the Holy Family. The first link below is from Fr. John Riccardo and the second is from Fr. Robert Barron. Please take a moment to listen to them by yourself, with your spouse, your family, or a friend. Below are their descriptions respectively.
1.)In this homily for the Feast of the Holy Family, Fr. Riccardo reviews the pledges made by couples in the Rite ofMarriage and by parents during the Rite of Baptism while offering encouragement to the congregants on raising their families in the faith.

2.)The Bible is not particularly sentimental about families. What makes a family holy, as far as the biblical writers are concerned, is its willingness to surrender to the purpose of God. We see this in a number of key figures, including Joseph, Anna, and Simeon.
* Duration 14:58, Play Position: 2:06 * Published 12/28/14 12:00:00 PM
